Apart from the name, already used for a 1995 car, the V40 is a new car from all points of view.

But it will bother even the BMW 1 Series, the new Mercedes-(coming in September) and the Alfa Romeo Giulietta.
Aesthetically, the new V40 is born under a lucky star.
The design of the body stems from the success of the V60, but here the wedge shape and marked long-term, a pointed snout give the car a strong personality and is very showy.

On the road, in fact, the performances were brighter than we expected from a diesel engine with only 115 hp.

Only climb performance is preferable to use lower speeds of the gearbox, if not inevitably the couple and verve.
We also liked the change, characterized by a smooth and precise engagement and limited excursions of the lever, and steering, cornering pleasantly responsive, lagging only limited turning radius, which makes maneuvering a little laborious. "
But that's the price you pay when you mount tires so wide and bulky. However, thanks to these generous tires, the V40 has excellent handling and outstanding stability on fast mixed.
